I completed my medical school education at the University of Limerick and my residency training in psychiatry at the University of Toronto. My clinical and research interests include early psychosis, mental health service access, and improving pathways to timely psychiatric care.
I was drawn to psychiatry by the opportunity to support people through a complex period in their lives and by a commitment to making psychiatric care more accessible. At Pacific Maple Psych Centre, I look forward to providing thoughtful psychiatric consultation in a warm, collaborative, and respectful setting.
Policies:
Cancellation / Rescheduling: Due to my limited availability and out of consideration for my waitlist, I require at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Each case is considered individually, but I reserve the right to charge a $100 fee if notice is given less than 48 hours in advance. Please note that rescheduled appointments may be scheduled several months after the original date.
Insurance / Disability / Third-Party Forms: In general, I do not complete third-party, insurance, or disability forms. I will write a comprehensive psychiatric report that will be sent to your primary care provider, who may contribute to completing forms.
Report Guidelines: All reports will be completed within 1 week of the consultation and will be sent to primary care providers. I cannot guarantee a faster turnaround.
