Psychometrist

Scope: Assessments
Language: English

I prioritize building a strong rapport with clients, creating a supportive environment for children and parents during assessments. I believe in using evidence-based practices and recognize that everyone has unique strengths and areas for growth. It is not about what you have, but how you use it.

I hold a Master of Counselling Psychology from Adler University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a Minor in Learning Disabilities, from Simon Fraser University. I also earned a teaching diploma in Teaching English as a Second Language and have led numerous S.T.E.P. Parenting Groups for various age groups, as well as taught other clinicians how to lead groups. Recently, I completed ADOS training and became a certified National Lifeguard, just for fun.

With over 26 years of experience in psychometry, I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, and adults. I conduct psychoeducational and diagnostic assessments in collaboration with psychologists. My career spans both government settings, including provincial rehabilitation and mental health hospitals, and over two decades of private contract work.

I am passionate about continuous learning and make it a point to try something very different each year. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether that is road biking or long-distance swimming. Travel and spending time with my family are essential and bring me joy.
