Samveer Uppal, B.Sc.

My name is Samveer, and I am a medical student at the University of British Columbia with an interest in studying psychiatry. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Sciences with a focus on neuropharmacology.

My academic, clinical, and research experiences have shaped my interest in how brain function, behaviour, and lived experiences intersect. I have worked in clinical support within a substance-use treatment setting, provided crisis-line support to individuals in distress, and provided tutoring to neurodiverse students.

As a psychometrist, I aim to help clients feel comfortable and respected throughout the assessment process. I value Pacific Maple Psych Centre’s commitment to compassionate, neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and individualized care. My goal is to support assessments that help clients and families gain clarity and access meaningful next steps.
