Vanessa Hall, M.A.
Doctoral Student
I am a Clinical Psychology doctoral graduate student at Adler University in Vancouver, B.C. I have a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and semiotics from the University of Toronto and a master’s degree in psychology from the University of East London. My master’s thesis focused on the emerging relationship between diet and mental health.
As a practicum student, I am deeply interested in the assessment process and in helping people better understand their mental health and overall state of mind. I believe that once we acknowledge our starting point, we can make informed decisions about the steps needed to manage and find solutions. I am particularly interested in psychoeducational assessments, as well as identifying learning disorders such as ADHD in both children and women of all ages.
In my free time, I enjoy gardening, reading, hiking, and cycling. I believe that a well-balanced lifestyle that stimulates both physical and mental well-being is essential to living a healthy life.
