About

A room at Pacific Maple Psych Centre

Founded in 2018, Pacific Maple Psych Centre is a growing multidisciplinary mental health practice. Our goal is to serve the various mental health, self-discovery, and personal growth needs of Canada's Pacific Northwest. Though we provide virtual care across British Columbia, our physical location is conveniently situated in the beautifully restored Rogers Heritage Building, across the street from the Waterfront Canada Line Station, and a short walk from Granville SkyTrain Station.

We have compassion for people from all walks of life, with clinicians familiarized in neurodiversity-affirming care, trauma-informed support, culturally responsive practice, LGBTQ2S+ affirming care, anti-oppressive frameworks, and disability-informed approaches. We also understand experiences like vystopia (or vegan outcast syndrome), and we support any individuals struggling with discrimination, marginalization, or repeated violations of their dignity and rights.

We are the top external practicum location for students of Adler University. Though we often receive requests from practicum students at SFU and UBC, we currently do not have capacity to take all such requests. However, our practice is growing, and we hope to eventually be able to take more students.

Demand for services is often higher than capacity at Pacific Maple Psych Centre. As a result, we are often open to hiring mental health professionals, from licensed psychologists and therapists to select coaches with a talent for transforming lives. We seek the utmost excellence to ensure we are providing the highest standard of care.

We are a values-driven clinic with an emphasis on community involvement. As such, a portion of our profits are donated to select community groups and charities. Details to be added in the future.
