Family-Focused Psychology
for Langley

Assessments for children and teens, and therapy for the whole family, in person or online

Families in Langley City and the Township often reach us when a child is struggling at school, a parent is wondering about autism or ADHD, or the household simply feels stretched thin. Our clinicians work with children, youth, adults and families.

Therapy can be entirely virtual, which saves the Highway 1 commute. Assessments include in-person testing at our downtown Vancouver office, and we explain each step beforehand so you and your child know what to expect.

Making Assessments Easier for Families

Preparing your child

Testing sessions average about four hours, with breaks. Our psychometrists focus on building rapport so children feel at ease, and parents receive clear feedback afterward.

School-ready reports

Psychoeducational assessments look at learning, attention, memory and social-emotional functioning, with recommendations you can share with your child's school.

Support for parents too

Parenting a child who is struggling is hard. Linda Sawyer offers autism family support, and individual therapy is available for parents who need space of their own.

Questions from Langley Clients

What ages do you assess?

We assess children, youth and adults. Our school psychologist, Ilona Oszadszky, focuses on children and youth.

Will my child's school accept the report?

Our reports include findings, diagnoses where applicable, and practical recommendations for school. Each school and district decides how it uses outside reports, so it helps to ask what they need.

Can my teen do therapy online?

Yes. Many of our clinicians see youth by secure video, and our adolescent group runs virtually.

How do we get started?

Book online or call us. If you are unsure whether your child needs therapy or an assessment, our team will help you decide.

Other Areas We Serve

We also see clients from nearby Surrey, Abbotsford and Coquitlam, and from across British Columbia by video. In-person sessions take place at our downtown Vancouver office.
